Club Training Update and Annual General Meeting

We have been informed that Shuttleworth arena are not allowing outside hiring of the indoor schools before the new year and they will review the situation again closer to that date. This means there will be no return to club training before the new year at the earliest. The news is disappointing but not totally surprising given what is going on with the virus infection rates and their priority has to be the safety of the students and staff.

I hope you are all keeping well and are able to do some training with your dogs be it: 1-2-1s, small groups or the makeshift plant pots and canes in the garden! Two instructors, Jo Sawford and Emma Austin are still running small group training sessions, although the evening sessions will have stopped due to lack of light. If you are interested get in touch for contact details, fiona@letchworthdtc.org.uk

The AGM seems ages away, but we have to start planning now. On advice from the Kennel Club we can defer the AGM until restrictions allow such a meeting to take place. At the recent committee meeting on 20th October all committee members agreed to stay in post until such time.

Don’t forget to keep posting photos and videos on the LDTC Facebook page, it is always lovely to see what everyone is doing, and good luck if you are competing at any of the JDA shows.
